Electrical works within your home can fall under Part P of the building regulations which means you need a member of a competent person scheme to complete these tasks for you.

At JJB Electrical, we are registered with NAPIT, and who is NAPIT might you ask?  NAPIT stands for the National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers and is a leading Government approved and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme operator in the building services and fabric sector.

We are yearly assessed by NAPIT to make sure our standards are at the highest possible level, that all of work and practices are being carried out as they should be and that we are up to date with the latest electrical regulations.

We can also be found on the registered competent person scheme website.

We have public liability insurance to the sum of £5 million pounds for the electrical works that we undertake and £250,000 of professional indemnity insurance for our inspection and testing works so that you can rest assured you are in safe hands.

If you are having electrical works carried out in your home, please make sure that your electrician is member of a Competent person scheme and that you receive the relevant certification and building notifications for the completed works.
